*Paint/Stain time may be longer, depending on the weather.  Higher humidity takes the paint/stain longer to dry.

Stain will allow the natural wood grain to be visible.

Also, we craft with Southern Yellow Pine--it has a beautiful wood grain, and is further enhanced by its
natural knots and other minor cosmetic imperfections.
  These knots and imperfections will be visible through the paint (especially white paint/milk paint) or stain
